Nox is the roman name for greek goddess NYX, The Goddess of the Night. One of the first gods to ever exist and the mother of Light and Day.
Being a child of Chaos she was troubled and created multiple dark spirits to wreak havoc upon the world. Among them was Sleep, Death, Strife and Pain.
Being one of the first gods to exist, her power was so great that even the almighty Zeus feared her.
